This year's Easter holidays for the pupils of the Orikhiv Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children were a real breath of warmth and hope. Twenty children who lost their homes or found themselves in difficult life circumstances due to the war spent four unforgettable days at the House of an Angel – a place where childhood comes to life, even in the most difficult times.

Let us remind you that the children's shelter was relocated from the Zaporizhzhia region to the Carpathian region due to active hostilities in the city of Orikhiv. Unfortunately, the building of the institution was destroyed by the Russian invaders. Nevertheless, even despite the loss of their home, the children were not left alone with their troubles.

Thanks to the care and efforts of the "You are an Angel" charity team, a rich recreational and rehabilitation program was organized for the children. Every day in the House of an Angel was filled with emotions, discoveries, and sincere smiles.

The children traveled to the Dovbush Rocks, traveled on the legendary Carpathian tram, and visited the Dolyna District Court, where they witnessed a real trial and got to know the work of judges better. An important spiritual experience was participation in the Sunday Divine Service in the Hoshiv Monastery for men.

The master class on painting Easter eggs was especially enthusiastic – the children lovingly created Easter symbols, studying the traditions of the Boykivshchyna region. No less impressive was the excursion to the "Boykivshchyna" museum, which helped the children learn more about the culture and history of the land that sheltered them.

And there were also swimming in the Carpathian hot tub, cycling through a mountain village, warm meetings with interesting people, and a simple but necessary feeling for every child: "I am not alone". These days became for the children not only an opportunity to relax but also a chance to find inner peace to feel acceptance, warmth, and support. It was a real rehabilitation through love.

We sincerely thank the project ambassadors -– Maryana Tabarkevych and the Swiss company Team Training Hedingen -– for supporting this initiative, which took place as part of the pre-Easter charity event; Halyna Pryimak, Olga Fedoryshyn and the Consulting Company "Uspikh". It is thanks to you – caring people with big hearts – that the children once again believed that miracles exist.
