Children From Zaporizhzhia Found Shelter and Joy in the "House of an Angel" Children's Town in Prykarpattia

The "You are an Angel" charitable foundation is actively involved in helping children affected by the war. We provide children from different regions of Ukraine with the opportunity to rest and recover in the Children's Town.

This week, the children's town "House of an Angel" became a real oasis for young guests from Zaporizhzhia. Orphans and children in difficult life circumstances getting rehabilitated at the Orihiv Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children had the opportunity to rest from the events of the war and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our region. In July 2024, the Orihiv center was relocated to Prykarpattia.

During the week, the little guests participated in various activities, such as master classes, sports competitions, and creative activities. They played in the fresh air, had many interesting excursions, learned about the nature of the Carpathians, and simply enjoyed communicating with their peers.

"I will never forget this week spent at the "House of an Angel". When we arrived here, we immediately felt at we are home. There were so many interesting activities here! We rode bicycles, tasted delicious homemade food, drew, played computer games, went hiking, swam in the pool, the river and even visited the water park. And we met new friends and laughed together, played and shared our impressions," Nikita tells her teacher over the phone.

"I really liked living in the Carpathians. There is such beautiful nature, clean air, and silence. I rested from all my problems. Now, I’ll return home a completely different person. Thank you to everyone who organized this vacation for us," she shares her impressions of fifteen-year-old Eva.
