Christmas at the “House of an Angel”: a Sense of Coziness, Family, and Family Traditions (VIDEO)

This year, Christmas was celebrated especially warmly and solemnly at the Children’s Town “Angel's House.” Orphaned children and children in difficult life circumstances, who were relocated to the Carpathian region from the Zaporizhzhia region, spent the holidays in an atmosphere of love, joy, and hope.

Celebrating Christmas with children from orphanages is a long-standing tradition of the “You are an Angel” foundation. For the third year in a row, children have the opportunity to experience the wonder of Christmas among the Carpathian Mountains. This tradition has become a symbol of support, care, and faith in a better future for every child.

Festive events: joy in every moment

A rich program was organized for children, which allowed them to feel the true spirit of Christmas:

• Festive table. In the best Ukrainian traditions, festive dishes were prepared for the children, which brought everyone together at one large table in a cozy atmosphere.

• Carols. Children went to sing carols to local residents, giving them heartfelt songs and a good mood.

• Divine service and water blessing. At the local monastery, children took part in a festive divine service, and also became participants in the blessing of water on a mountain river – a unique tradition that they will remember forever.

• Excursions. Interesting trips were organized for children, which allowed them to get to know the beauty of the Carpathians and local culture better.

Warmth and support for everyone

We are happy that together with our partners we have the opportunity to give a real Christmas to children who were deprived with parental care, their home and loved ones. Every smile, every happy moment of this holiday became evidence of how important joint efforts are to create a bright future for our children.
