Creative Workshops as an Important Component of Children’s Development

Creative activities are an essential part of a child’s harmonious development. During such activities, children learn to be attentive, discover their own abilities, and fully immerse themselves in the creative process.

Recently, children supported by the “Ty-Anhel” Charity Foundation had a wonderful opportunity to take part in a creative workshop conducted by researchers from the Dolyna Local History Museum “Boykivshchyna.” During the session, the children made a Presentation (Candlemas) candle from natural beeswax. The process was accessible yet required focus and imagination, and the boys and girls successfully completed the task.

After the workshop, the children visited the museum’s exhibition halls. The educational tour became an exciting journey into the past. Thanks to engaging stories shared by the museum’s researchers, the children learned more about the traditions, customs, everyday life of our ancestors, and the richness of Ukrainian cultural heritage.
