Every year, during the bright season of Christmas and New Year holidays, the Angel’s Home is filled with children’s voices, warmth, and hope. Children who have lost their loved ones or found themselves in difficult life circumstances gather here to experience the true spirit of Christmas together.

This year, the festive table at the Angel’s Home brought together the students of the Rohatyn Special School.

A festive dinner in the circle of friends, carols by the warm fireplace, and the aroma of mandarins and kutia gave the children a sense of home, coziness, and heartfelt Christmas memories. Together with the children, we went out for evening caroling to the homes of village residents—our neighbors and friends. Through carols and shchedrivky, we praised the birth of Jesus Christ. We sincerely thank everyone for their hospitality, open hearts, and warm welcome.

On the eve of Christmas Eve, the children visited the local church and viewed the Nativity scene, and on the Feast of the Epiphany, they took part in the Great Blessing of the Waters on a mountain river. For many of them, it was their first such experience, filled with new emotions and unforgettable impressions.

The rich program of activities was complemented by bathing in a traditional Carpathian hot tub on the grounds of the Children’s Village, quad biking, visits to the swimming pool, cinema, and local history museum, as well as participation in a beeswax candle-making workshop.

We sincerely thank our dear friends from Vienna — the community “Territory of God’s Love,” which operates at the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church of St. Barbara, and especially Ms. Nadiia Pelykhan — for their heartfelt support and assistance in organizing the Holy Supper at the Angel’s Home.

Thanks to your care, open hearts, and shared efforts, our children had the opportunity to feel the warmth of a family celebration, the joy of unity, and the true miracle of Christmas.

May the Lord reward you abundantly for your kindness, and may the light of love continue to unite us in good deeds.

Christ is born!
