On June 23, on the Day of the Exile of the Holy Spirit, a significant event took place in the Children's Town "House of an Angel" - the consecration of the newly built chapel of Archangel Michael.
The consecration was conducted by priests of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Fr. Vasyl Shcheglyuk, Fr. Vasyl Buriy, and Fr. Mykola from the monastery on Yasnaya Gora.
After the consecration of the chapel and a joint prayer, a festive concert was held. The concert was prepared for the guests by the talented children of the Dolyna region – Anastasia Dymid, Arsen Torgovetskyi, Bozhena Sholom, Sofia Naboka, Tetyana Girna, the dance team of the Center for extracurricular education. Pupils of the Dolyna Regional Center for Social Support of Children and Families "Warm House", who were resting and recuperating in the Children's Town at that time, also demonstrated their talents.
A musical greeting rang out from the friend – father Vasyl Buriy. We are sincerely grateful to all the participants of the holiday concert, in particular to our friends and assistants – Galina Kurus and Oleg Yakimiv for the high-quality preparation and holding of the holiday.
We thank the clergy, numerous guests, our friends and volunteers who came to the Town to support us and share with us this joyful and significant event in the history of the “House of Angel.”
We express our gratitude to all the good people who supported the construction of the chapel with their money and labor and, together with the CF “You are an Angel” during the year, brought this project to life.
May the newly built spiritual space bear its abundant fruits and contribute to the upbringing of the Christian and patriotic spirit in the minds of our children!
