A unique project aimed at preserving and restoring the psycho-emotional state of children affected by the war has been completed in the Children’s Town “Angel's House”.
The project “Psychosocial Support for Children at Risk the War Time” brought together 40 children, including orphans, children deprived of parental care, children with disabilities, as well as children from occupied territories and areas where active hostilities are taking place.
In this difficult time, when children’s hearts are burdened by war, we must focus most on their psycho-emotional state. Thanks to our work, children received: professional psychological assistance; emotional relief through creative and entertaining activities; a sense of security and care for them. Daily activities helped children forget about fears, the pain of loss and air anxieties, and also inspired them to believe in their strength and capabilities.
“We believe that such initiatives are global goals, as they help children maintain mental health and find a path to stable development, even in the most difficult situations”, says project psychologist Yulia Kupriyanova.
We sincerely thank our partners for their support and belief in the psychological potential of our town.
The project “Psychosocial Support for Children at Risk the War Time” was implemented with the financial support of the “Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Service”.
