November 19, 2003. Diagnosis - Burkitt's Lymfoma
Michael is the youngest in our family. From his birth, we were fighting for his life. He was born prematurely and with heart failure. Michael was weak and he often had colds that ended with laryngitis, attacks, and seizures. Michael was under doctors’ supervision all the time. Several times, we took him to Lviv and Kiev for consultations with specialists.
In 2011, Michael started first grade. He was weak and tired, and he had frequent colds. Nonetheless, he was eager to study. On January 14, 2012, Michael complained of a stomachache, and his stomach was big and hard on touch. We thought that it was food poisoning. On January 16, Michael was hospitalized in Kolomia Hospital and on January 17, he was transferred to Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children’s Hospital to intensive care unit for diagnostics. The biopsy of the tumor was taken and sent to OHMADYT hospital in Kiev. The diagnosis is Burkitt's Lymfoma, stage IV. Besides, Michael has mitral valve prolapse, grade 1.
I need to take care of Michael all the time. That is why in our family only father is working. We have another son Stepanko. He is 12 years old. Relying on God’s help, we began the battle for Michael’s life. Michael was in the intensive care for two weeks, and now he is undergoing chemo. We are looking for donors of blood. The treatment is going to be long and expensive, and we need your help.
Please help in any way you can: make a monetary donation, donate blood, or pray God with all your heart for Michael’s health.

Resurrection of Jesus Christ is a wonderful family holiday, and everybody is eagerly waiting for it to get together with family and to have a feast with Easter bread and eggs. During Easter holidays we reevaluate our intentions, desires, and deeds, and we try to act with love towards one another. We should never forget that not all children live with parents. Unfortunately, children from orphanages cannot have Easter feast with their families, but nonetheless they are waiting for Easter.

Wednesday, April 11 was a special day and it will stay in the memories of 20 children from Dolyna orphanage. These children had a field trip to ski resort “Bukovel”.
“Bukovel” is one of the most beautiful places in the Carpathian region; both children and adults visit it with great pleasure because it is a place where everyone can have fun and breeze fresh Carpathian air.
As soon as we arrived to Bukovel, we were greeted by professional instructors. They helped us to find the right equipment and helped us to divide the children in three groups. Instructors gave each group a skiing lesson.

April 12, the team of the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” visited Ivano-Frankivsk shelter for children. The purpose of our visit was to wish the children Happy Easter and to give them a little bit of our souls and friendship. Everybody is busy, but some people donated the money and found the time to communicate with the children. The administration of the institution greeted us and let us meet the children. We chatted and joked, we talked about children’s dreams for the future and we played with huge balloons, we took pictures and we planned our next get together.

“Easter Egg for a Friend”, that is the name of the class that “Ty Anhel” organized right before Easter. Teens from recreational center “Prometheus” participated in the class. Everybody worked diligently on decorating the eggs because these eggs would be gifts to children from an orphanage.
At the end of the week, all students together with teachers and volunteers from “Ty Anhel” will visit the orphanage “Teply Dim” and will wish the children there Happy Easter.
