Date of birth: September 18, 2006. Diagnosis - Cerebral Palsy

Arina Zhurakovska is a five-year-old girl under the care of the charitable foundation "Ty Anhel". The girl has cerebral palsy. She has been diagnosed with right-sided hemiparesis with pronounced motor skills disturbances. In spite of everything and thanks to the intense therapy during the last several years, the girl is able to walk all by herself. However, to complete the rehabilitation, the family needs 60000 grivnas.

Arina's mother is a single parent, and the family does not have that much money. The thorny life path began right at birth: artificial lung ventilation, infusion therapy, umbilical catheter are just a few trial of a poor child.

The doctors recommended Arina to undergo several rehabilitation sessions at International Rehabilitation Clinic in Truskavets.

The first five sessions were possible because of donations from caring people. As a result, the muscle tone in the right limbs improved. The girl began to hold her head and she started to walk. But Arina is not able to take care of herself: she is not stable when she is walking. There is muscle atrophy in her right leg and her right forearm and shoulder.

Here is what Arina's mother is writing: "The doctors recommend Arina to undergo rehabilitation sessions every four months, but because I am a single mom and I do not work and take care of the child with disability, it is hard for me to raise money for the rehabilitation. I am grateful to everybody who can make a donation for Arina's treatment and help Arina to become a healthy and happy child."
Charitable foundation "Ty Anhel" is asking all the people who can find a little bit of love and kindness in their hearts to help the girl to live a normal life. Arina has chances to recover, but she needs to undergo rehabilitation sessions. The price of this kind of therapy in Truskavets is 5 900 grivnas, and Arina needs at least ten sessions.

A Little Bit of Attention to Orphans

Resurrection of Jesus Christ is a wonderful family holiday, and everybody is eagerly waiting for it to get together with family and to have a feast with Easter bread and eggs. During Easter holidays we reevaluate our intentions, desires, and deeds, and we try to act with love towards one another. We should never forget that not all children live with parents. Unfortunately, children from orphanages cannot have Easter feast with their families, but nonetheless they are waiting for Easter.

Children from Dolyna Orphanage Visited Ski Resort “Bukovel”

Wednesday, April 11 was a special day and it will stay in the memories of 20 children from Dolyna orphanage. These children had a field trip to ski resort “Bukovel”. “Bukovel” is one of the most beautiful places in the Carpathian region; both children and adults visit it with great pleasure because it is a place where everyone can have fun and breeze fresh Carpathian air. As soon as we arrived to Bukovel, we were greeted by professional instructors. They helped us to find the right equipment and helped us to divide the children in three groups. Instructors gave each group a skiing lesson.

Happy Easter at Children Shelter

April 12, the team of the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” visited Ivano-Frankivsk shelter for children. The purpose of our visit was to wish the children Happy Easter and to give them a little bit of our souls and friendship. Everybody is busy, but some people donated the money and found the time to communicate with the children. The administration of the institution greeted us and let us meet the children. We chatted and joked, we talked about children’s dreams for the future and we played with huge balloons, we took pictures and we planned our next get together.

Easter Egg for a Friend

“Easter Egg for a Friend”, that is the name of the class that “Ty Anhel” organized right before Easter. Teens from recreational center “Prometheus” participated in the class. Everybody worked diligently on decorating the eggs because these eggs would be gifts to children from an orphanage. At the end of the week, all students together with teachers and volunteers from “Ty Anhel” will visit the orphanage “Teply Dim” and will wish the children there Happy Easter.
